The pioneering multiplex of the city opened to much fanfare with its dramatic bold gold & red interiors paying ode to the cultural context. The cinema located above a single anchor retail store of Future Group is a rhythmic layout composition with functions flowing around in curving & circular formation. The existing cinema with its dramatic design is now on the drawing board for updating its look & feel.

The brief for the project is to create new F&B counters & kiosks along with re-surfacing all interior walls & ceilings in contemporary design language. The design proposal retains existing space forms while layering them with selected specialized finishes. The recessed oval seating zone is revived with dynamic event space to create an attraction within the foyer & transitions. Auditorium arrivals & doors were designed to accentuate & bring prominence within the long access spaces.
