Mysuru is South India's crucible of dynastic heritage & monuments. A city known for its opulence in royal lineage which have inspired designers, museums & art aficionados across the globe. The Forum Mall becomes the upcoming location for the multiplex that will be the city's newest go to destination. With its twin identities of a royal past & a technology hive the city becomes the inspiration of design for the project.
The cinema precinct begins at the end of mall retail with arrival aligned to the ticket box. The shop front is a framed view to an ambience which is regal yet contemporary. A city with a royal history of treasures & gems merits a diamond motif as an insignia which is then layered & interwoven into its design language. The ceiling in the main foyer is a composition of abstract diamond patterns with backlit elements that create a context for two dramatic chandelier suspensions.
