In India's IT capital Bengaluru with multiplexes strewn across the city the brand has an undisputed presence. With this project they mark their foray into the upcoming new development of Yeshwanthpur. The mall with its anchor tenants of large store format retail & entertainment caters primarily to a neighbourhood market. The planning of the cinema like a pilgrimage for movies is inspired from traditional Indian temple plan with its symmetrical & structured spaces.
The arrival at cinema level is greeted with a showcase shop front with movie posters & promotions beautifully framed on panelled walls. The generous ticket box with reception form counter greets the patrons upfront. The cinema foyer begins with a capsule of high ceiling toran like pre-function flanked on both sides with double banked poster cased promotions. The main foyer or the mandapa itself is a symmetrical space with multiple f & b experiences on both sides. The auditorium access foyer is designed like the garbha griha with backlit decorative lattice detail ceiling in circular illusion motif creating a beautiful drama of light & shadow.
