The Kala Ghoda Art District of Mumbai becomes the setting for the new Punjab Grill Fine Dining Restaurant in the city. The concept design borrows from the rich architectural milieu of its context. The building facade has been made magnificent by restoring all existing architectural elements & finishes. Arched bay windows & circular rose windows with new gold etched fixed glazings bring in the much required daylight into the dining areas & come alive with mood lighting accentuating its tall arched elements by night.
The interior design concept itself creates a restaurant in a bold colour palette of black, gold & white of the brand used to dramatic effects between materials & finishes. The design carries a whiff of the cuisine with traditional phulkari motif tile wall finishes & photo collages of erstwhile Punjab. Semi formal seating in multiple configurations & neutral colours create an all day dining ambience. The staircase in black & gold leads up to private dining with glass chandeliers setting the mood. Shera has come to town!
